Esta investigaci\u00f3n se propone estudiar las producciones culturales de Argentina y Brasil en los siglos XX y XXI, espec\u00edficamente las pr\u00e1cticas art\u00edsticas, literarias, cinematogr\u00e1ficas y festivas y sus productos desde un abordaje material que implique, al mismo tiempo, el estudio del contexto socio-hist\u00f3rico de cada caso para comprender c\u00f3mo se da la relaci\u00f3n entre cultura y sociedad. Esta mirada permite trabajar en estudios comparados entre producciones culturales de ambos pa\u00edses o enfocarse en las de cada uno de ellos. As\u00ed, esta propuesta abarca \u00e1reas de conocimiento vinculadas a la sociolog\u00eda, los estudios culturales, los estudios sociales del arte, la historia argentina y brasile\u00f1a. Se parte de la relaci\u00f3n entre cultura y sociedad no como una relaci\u00f3n de exterioridad, sino en la dial\u00e9ctica que implica pensar la cultura en el contexto social y pol\u00edtico del que forma parte. Adem\u00e1s, se propicia una perspectiva intercultural y transdisciplinaria sobre temas y problem\u00e1ticas ligadas con el arte, la cultura y los procesos socio-hist\u00f3ricos con que se relacionan en Argentina y en Brasil, pudiendo a su vez tejer puentes entre ambos pa\u00edses. Al tener una mirada no euroc\u00e9ntrica, se espera que el proyecto avance en el conocimiento existente sobre la regi\u00f3n sin tener como paradigma hegem\u00f3nico el europeo o estadounidense, sino que se trabajar\u00e1 sobre las particularidades socio-hist\u00f3ricas que envuelven los objetos culturales a analizar. La metodolog\u00eda de an\u00e1lisis propuesta parte de la perspectiva transdisciplinaria, la noci\u00f3n de la visualidad como eje articulador y actividades de investigaci\u00f3n cualitativa basada en estudios de casos. Las fuentes se seleccionar\u00e1n de acuerdo a la pertinencia para brindar informaci\u00f3n sobre cada uno de los casos. The objective of this investigation is to study the cultural productions of Argentina and Brazil from the 20th and 21stcenturies. It focuses particularly on the analysis of festive, cinematographic, literary and artistic practices and their products with a material approach that also involves the study of each of their socio-historical contexts to understand the relationship between culture and society. This approach allows us to undertake comparative studies between the cultural productions of both countries or to concentrate on one country at a time. In this way, this proposal covers areas of knowledge related to sociology, cultural studies, art social studies and Brazilian and Argentinean history. It has been assumed that the relationship between culture and society is not external but dialectic, which implies considering the culture within the political and social context of which they are part. We also favor a transdisciplinary and intercultural perspective on problems and issues linked to the art, culture and socio-historical processes they are related to in Argentina and Brazil, thus allowing bridge building between the two countries. Since this project does not have a Eurocentric approach, we expect that it creates further knowledge on the region without considering the United States or Europe as the hegemonic paradigm. On the contrary, we will work on the socio-historical distinctive features surrounding the cultural objects that will be analyzed. The analysis methodology used has its basis in the transdisciplinary perspective, the idea of visuality as a linchpin and qualitative investigation activities based on case studies. Sources will be selected according to their relevance for each case.
