Tradicionalmente, los programas de ense\u00f1anza de ingl\u00e9s como lengua extranjera han incluido la narraci\u00f3n como uno de los g\u00e9neros discursivos que los estudiantes deben reconocer, conocer y ser capaces de producir. Particularmente, en las materias de lengua inglesa de las carreras de ingl\u00e9s de la Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educaci\u00f3n (FaHCE) dicho g\u00e9nero discursivo ha sido el foco de atenci\u00f3n a lo largo de los a\u00f1os, un objeto y un instrumento de evaluaci\u00f3n en Introducci\u00f3n a la Lengua Inglesa y en Lengua Inglesa 1. La literatura ha acompa\u00f1ado la ense\u00f1anza del ingl\u00e9s como artefacto de acercamiento a aspectos ling\u00fc\u00edsticos, culturales y sociales inevitablemente involucrados en la ense\u00f1anza de una lengua. Traditionally, English as a Foreign Language courses of study have included narration as a genre students need to be familiar with and able to identify and produce. Especially in English Language subjects at the School of Humanities of the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, this genre has been the focus of attention for several years as it has been considered a learning goal to be achieved by students and assessed by teachers in both Introduction to the English Language and English Language I. Literature has accompanied language teaching as a means to bring together linguistic, cultural and social aspects, which are inextricably involved in language teaching. In this Project, we set out to analyze and strengthen the bond between literature and narration through the use of literature as support for the production of narratives during the first years of our
