Resumen: Se informa sobre las primeras actividades realizadas sobre la Adaptación de los Inventarios MacArthur –Bates del Desarrollo de Habilidades Comunicativas al español regional en la que participan docentes, investigadores y alumnos de la Facultad de Psicología de la U.N.L.P. Estos Inventarios, proporcionan de manera sistemática, rápida y sencilla información de los padres sobre el lenguaje de sus hijos. Comprenden dos formas: una para niños/as de 8 a 15 meses y otra para niños/as de 16 a 30 meses. Si bien existen versiones en español, las particularidades dialectales del español rioplatense demandan su adaptación para poder ser utilizado en el país. El interés de tal tarea reside en la facilidad de su aplicación, en la validez y confiabilidad de los resultados obtenidos sobre el desarrollo lingüístico de los niños pequeños, que posibilita la detección y el pronóstico de eventuales retrasos en el lenguaje --- Reportedly the first activities undertaken on the adaptation to the Inventories of the Development of Communicative Skills MacArthur - Bates to the regional Spanish involving teachers, researchers and students of the Faculty of Psychology of the UNLP. These inventories provide systematic, fast and way simple info from parents on the language of their children. They comprise two forms: one for children of 8 to 15 months and the other for children from 16 to 30 months. Even though there are versions in Spanish, dialectal peculiarities of the rioplatense spanish demand its adaptation to be used in the country. The interest of such a task lies in ease of application, in the validity and reliability of the results obtained on linguistic development of young children, allowing detection and prognosis of any delays in the language.
